Passed peacefully on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Valley Manor Long Term Care Facility in Barry’s Bay at the age of 97. Son of William and Nattie Byers. Brother of Hertha Bradley (Sam), Lawrence (Lina), Gordon (Tina), Wilbert (Gladys), Melva Marquette (Albert), Rosie Tarisien (Baptiste), Beatrice Swinwood (Morley), and infant brother Delton. Leonard will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place with interment to take place in the spring of 2021 at Papineau Lake Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. Francis Memorial Hospital woulld be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to M.G. Daly Funeral Home, Maynooth.
