Obituary for
Bruce Corbiere
Corbiere, Bruce
1960-2021
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing on Saturday August 28, 2021, after a brave and courageous battle of 28 days at the Toronto General Hospital. Beloved husband of Mary Corbiere (nee Perrier). Loving father of Sonia Corbiere (Mark Schizkoske) and Natalie Corbiere (Dan Chartrand). Cherished grandfather of Owen and Vayda Salvador, Abigail Schizkoske, Cameron and LB Cochrane and their father Wilson Cochrane. Dear brother of Peter (Ginette) Corbiere and John (Wendy) Corbiere. He will also be sadly missed by his nephew Zack Corbiere (numero uno) and all of his amazing friends. He was predeceased by his parents Mary (2017) and Wesley (2020) Corbiere. Bruce was a giver, a giver of wisecracks, life lessons, a cold drink, junk food and friendship. But most of all he gave love-with a majority of it being the tough kind. He was renowned for his knack of telling it like it was. Paw was who you called for advice and a good laugh. His heirs to the throne Paddy and Buddy. We don’t want to say goodbye… so we will just say “Maybe stop by for coffee tomorrow.” In light of the current pandemic, in efforts to protect the public and the family, they have decided to have a private family service. Remembrance donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
