Obituary
Bruce Thomas Awasis was born December 11, 1974. He grew up in Thunderchild, North Battleford, and Saskatoon. Although he had his struggles, Bruce was always respectful, humble, kind, joyful, and had a quiet demeanor. He always looked at the positive side of everything, trying to make those around him smile. Bruce was employed at a leather plant in Brooks, AB. for a few years. He spoke highly of his time there and said he could go back anytime.
Bruce was predeceased by: his sister, Linda; his mother, Helen Awasis; his grandparents, James and Caroline Awasis; his uncles, Brian, Elmer, Duncan and Lancelot; his aunts, Irene and Geraldine; and many other relatives, too many to name.
He leaves to celebrate his life: his siblings, Jacqueline, Rene, Elaina and Troy Awasis; his aunt, Loretta Wolfe (Dennis); his uncles, Kenny, Wallace, Dale, Bobby, Keith, and Kevin; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.
Special mention to relatives and friends who were there for him when he needed them most. He was loved by the Horse and Wapass families. He will be missed by so many.
