Paul Bruce Hutchison of St. Jacobs, and formerly of Clifford, passed away on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, in his 92nd year.
Husband of Georgie (Beach) Hutchison.
Father of Steve (Lynn Tyndall) of Port Colborne, Pat Davis (Don) of Beamsville, Rob (Tracey) of Elmira, and Chris Hutchison-Hounsell (Lyndon) of London.
Grandfather of Melanie De Witt, Tom Hutchison-Hounsell, Emma Hutchison-Hounsell, Andrew Hutchison, William Hutchison, and Matthew Hutchison, and great-grandfather of Guinevere De Witt.
Bruce was born in Toronto on January 2, 1930. He joined the RCAF soon after leaving high school serving from 1949-54. After a varied career in the private sector, he retired as a purchasing consultant in 1992. He enjoyed many hobbies over the years including stock car racing, model airplanes, sailing, camping, cottaging, winemaking, golf, and curling. He was handy with repairing machines and also spent many hours in his woodshop making furniture. Adored by his wife of 70 years, he was a loving father always ready to give advice and support. His legacy is his family.
Visitation will be held at Knox United Church, Clifford on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon. The service will be recorded and the link available on the funeral home website.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Knox United Church, Clifford would be appreciated, and may be made through the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
