Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family on Thursday, April 29, 2021. Bridget Frances Hickey (Carroll), of Outer Cove in her 96th year. Predeceased by her husband James; parents James and Catherine Carroll; sisters Margaret Cadigan (Patrick), Mary Morry (Howard) and Annie; brothers Walter, Richard (Mary), John, Patrick and James. Leaving to mourn with many beautiful memories her children; Marie (Carmen), Diane (Wayne), Gerard (Debbie), Angela (Gerry), Maureen (Doug) and Kevin (Tina); sister Catherine Hickey (Peter – deceased); sisters – in – law Alice Carroll and Gladys Carroll; also leaving to mourn 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks are extended to the doctors and staff of St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Cremation has taken place. Due to the current COVID guidelines a private viewing for family and friends will take place from Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from Caul’s Chapel, LeMarchant Road on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 1 p.m. For those who wish to view the Funeral Service online can do so by clicking the following link: vimeo.com/event/948006
Inurnment to follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery Fund.
