BriAnna’s Obituary
MONTROSE, BriAnna Holly ~ Age 22, of Wilmot, Annapolis Co., passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021, in Greenwood. Born on November 10, 1998, in Kentville, she was a daughter of Bradley V. “Brad” and Mary M. (Hicks) Montrose, Wilmot. BriAnna was a graduate of Gander Collegiate High School, later moving to Nova Scotia in 2018. She had a great love for animals, people and had a special place in her heart for her niece, Scarlett. BriAnna had planned to attend a Community College Cosmetology Program in the future. Besides her loving parents she is survived by her boyfriend, Stephen Best, Greenwood; brothers, Matthew (Taylor) and Tyler (Chelsie), both of Mirimachi, N.B.; sister, Haleigh, Wilmot; nephews, Walker and Cooper; nieces, Myla and Scarlett; grandfather, Vernon Montrose, Middleton; grandmother, Bridget Hicks, and step grandfather Stephen Finnigan, both of Appleton, Nfld; great grandfather, Chesley Atkinson; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by grandfather, Edward Hicks; grandmother, Brenda Montrose. A private visitation has taken place and a time in celebration of BriAnna’s life will take place at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to Multi Addiction Centre Society or Kings Co. S.P.C.A. Arrangements have been entrusted to Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main Street, toll free 1-855-825-3448.
