Obituary
Brian Keron: Passed away quietly in his apartment in Waterloo Dec 12th, 2021, at the age of 46.
Sadly, missed by father Jim Keron, brother Rob, sister Catherine, and “evil stepmother” Jan Vicars, Nancy and Paul Monger, his aunt and uncle. Also, by step siblings Tara (Danny) and Matt (Julia) and cousins Susan (Scott) and Cindy (Peter). Predeceased by his mother Patricia Watt.
As a child Brian developed an interest in flying and computers, exceling at both as well as mathematics. He had his glider pilot’s license before he got his driver’s license. He designed a computer language and wrote a compiler for it for his grade 8 science fair project, unfortunately getting an honorable mention because the judge had no idea of what it even was. He attended TPS, IDCI and the University of Waterloo, graduating in 1998 with a degree in computer science and a minor in English Literature. During his working career he worked in Champaign IL, London ON, the Czech Republic, Waterloo ON, Seattle WA and Vancouver BC.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will take place when Covid-19 permits. We are hoping January.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Thamesford Lions club and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel, 519-285-2427 or online at www.brockandvisser.com
