It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son, brother and uncle, Brian (Googs) Collier, 64, on Monday, March 22, 2021, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care, Sydney, with family by his side.
Born in Sydney Mines on May 22, 1956, he was the son of the late Charles and Gwendolyn (Burchell) Collier.
In his younger years, Brian enjoyed lobster fishing with his friends.
He is survived by his brothers David, Nfld, Earl (Lori), Sydney Mines, and Joe, Toronto, sisters Donna Conrad (Ron), Mahone Bay, Sheila (Richard Newman), North Sydney, and Noreen (David Bradley), Sydney Mines, as well as a number of nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, aunts and uncles.
Besides his parents, Brian was predeceased by his grandparents Harris and Ruth Burchell, Charles and Catherine Collier, and sister-in-law Marilyn Young.
Brian’s family would like to thank all the caregivers that looked after him at Harbourstone Enhanced Care.
There will be no visitation or funeral. A graveside service will take place at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to his family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
