Brett Lemke Sunday November 28th 2021

We are saddened to announce the passing of Brett Lemke on November 28, 2021 at Ridge Meadows hospital in Maple Ridge. Brett died peacefully knowing he would be in no more pain from diabetes and cancer.
Born on March 6, 1967 in Vancouver BC, Brett lived a full childhood and in the late 80’s he met his one and only wife Heather Black. His life forever changed in April 1993 when his only child, Christina was born.
Brett had one purpose and that was to make her upbringing better than his. Brett was a skilled crane truck owner operator and had a lot of success in the Fraser Valley, mainly Langley and area. He resided in Yarrow BC from 1999-2006 until his separation with his wife, Heather. The last decade of his life was a rollercoaster and unfortunately addiction happened.
Brett’s family will continue to remember him for the husband, father, friend, and son he was before he lost himself. Survived by his parents, Jan Cook of Princeton and Allan Lemke of Burnaby, his ex wife Heather of Chilliwack, daughter Christina (Aaron) of Saskatchewan and two grandsons he never got to meet but will only hear the good of him Dean and Kyle.
Brett wished for no funeral but a celebration of life with close friends and family which will take place next year at some time.
