Obituary of Brent Aitken
AITKEN: Brent William –
A resident of R.R. # 5 Dresden, Brent Aitken passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at the age of 43.
Born in Chatham, Brent was the son of Robert and Alexis (Charron) Aitken. Son-in-law to Dean and Joyce (Thomas) Girard.
Beloved husband of 21 years to Tanya (nee Girard).
Proud and loving father to Braeden, Carter and Emma.
Dear brother to Tim Aitken (Melissa) and Jennifer McBain (Brian).
Brother-in-law to Tina St. Pierre (Mike) and Brandon Girard.
Cherished Uncle of Ashley, Arielle and Aliea Aitken, Mackenzie McBain and Ethan and Delaney St. Pierre.
Great-uncle to Ella and Bryson.
Brent will be dearly missed by best friends Eric and Stephanie Lauwereys.
Also missed by many uncles, aunts, friends, co-workers and extended family.
Brent farmed with his Dad his entire life, starting in the sandbox. He started as an Apprentice Mechanic at Waycon, and worked as a foreman for Carrier before becoming a partner at Chapple Fuels. Brent enjoyed camping with his family and friends.
A Celebration of Brent’s life will be held at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Brent to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or Chatham-Kent Animal Rescue would be appreciated.
