Brent Dadds Saturday March 6th 2021

DADDS, Brent Julian; Passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 6th, 2021 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, at the age of 18. Brent is survived by his loving parents Simon Dadds and Chia-Wen Hsu. Beloved nephew of Melvin Hsu, Vivian Hsu (Tim Giddens), Yi-Wen Hsu (Stefan Egge), Vivien Dadds, Ilana Dadds (Dayna Van Caeyzeele), Stephanie Dadds, and Michelle (John) Verheul. Cherished cousin of Robert Egge, Katherine Egge, Xavier Verheul, Alexander Verheul, and Rowan Verheul. Grandson of John and Elaine Dadds, and Chen Hwei Hsu. Brent leaves behind many friends, teachers, and coaches who worked with him at Lakefield College School. Many people will miss Brent in his white-water paddling community. Brent was a student at Queens University and an active member with Kawartha Whitewater Paddlers. He enjoyed skiing, kayaking, and travel. The family wishes many thanks to the incredibly dedicated and supportive team at the ICU at PRHC for looking after Brent in his final days, and to our family and friends who provided support during this time. Cremation has taken place, and due to COVID, a Celebration of Life has been postponed until further notice. Brent has been laid to rest at Little Lake Cemetery. For those wishing to honour Brent, please consider registering as an organ donor (Trillium Gift of Life), or if desired donations may be made to the PRHC Foundation through the funeral home.
