Obituary of Brenda Rose Pandell
PANDELL, Brenda Rose;
It is with heartbreak and sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Pandell on May 14, 2021 at the age of 70 with her beloved son by her side.
After a courageous 4-year battle with Cancer, Brenda no longer had the strength to win the battle with COVID.
Brenda was a dedicated mother first and foremost; she treasured her son Mack and he was the center of her world until she entered her role as Gigi. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Brenda’s positive attitude and outlook in life was her trademark and impacted so many people’s lives she touched. Her passion for learning was evident as a teacher for over 30 years in the Niagara Catholic School Board where she shared her knowledge and positivity with thousands of students. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her close-knit family, lunch with friends and of course a glass of wine in the evening with her wonderful neighbors.
She will be missed dearly by her family as the much-loved daughter to Doris and the late Leo Remigio. Cherished Mother to Mack Pandell (Nicole). Devoted Gigi to Leo and Sophie. Beloved Sister of Ginny Robins (Guy), and Michael Remigio (Jan).
We invite family, friends and former students to keep her positive outlook alive through stories, memories and the kindness she put out into the world.
A special thank you to everyone at Walker Family Cancer Center for the treatment and comradery she received.
Due to Covid 19 a Celebration of Brenda’s life will take place at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Bocchinfuso Funeral Home, 2 Regent Street, Thorold, Ontario. Please take the time to sign the online guestbook at www.Bocchinfusofh.com.
In Lieu of flowers, our family would greatly appreciate donations to Walker Family Cancer Center.

Death notice for the town of: Thorold, Province: Ontario
My condolences to the family of my favourite elementary school teacher. To her dear son Mack, I do remember how she would talk of you so lovingly in class. Mrs. Pandell brought literature alive for me. I adored reaching Bridge to Terabithia and The Giver with her, she gave that gift to me and our whole class. Just enraptured by her reading to us. Thank you Mrs. Pandell for your beautiful example. God bless you 💕
