Brenda Lee Christianson January 28th 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Lee Christianson (Reykdal), mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Brenda was born April 22, 1956 in Wynyard, Saskatchewan to Bjorn (Barney) and Opal Reykdal. Brenda passed away peacefully with her children at her side on January 28, 2021 at the age of 64.
Left to cherish her memory is her mother Opal Reykdal; her children Ian (Kathy) Christianson and April (Blane) Christianson; grandchildren Taryn, Daegan, Zakk, Brinlee, Jarden and Jadelyn; her brother Allen (Jean) Limin and family as well as many extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her father Bjorn (Barney) Reykdal.
Brenda was raised on the family farm near Dafoe, Saskatchewan until they moved to Watson, Saskatchewan. When Brenda was 17 she married Ervin Christianson and lived on a farm near Naicam, SK; they had two children, Ian and April. They moved to Saskatoon in 1987 where Brenda met many of her lifetime friends. A few years after April moved to Regina, Saskatchewan Brenda went to live with her and remained there with her and her family until her passing.
Since March of 2020 when Brenda had stopped working due to illness, she found a hobby that she loved doing with diamond art. She did many pictures and spent much of her time completing them. She shared this love of diamond art with her granddaughter Taryn who will ensure that her unfinished pieces get completed.
Brenda was loved by everyone who met her. She has left an imprint in all the hearts of those that knew her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in Brenda’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Brenda Lee Christianson January 28th 2021..
