Rice, Brenda Jane (nee Yungblut) 1932 – 2021
Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the age of 89.
Predeceased by her beloved husband John, sister Lorna Roland, brother-in-law John Roland, stepson Robert Rice and her parents Gladys and Wilford Yungblut. Brenda is survived by her stepson William Rice (Anne), her nephew Jay Roland and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Brenda worked many years for the Town of Pelham until retirement. She was a long time devoted member of the North Pelham Presbyterian Church and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
The memorial service to honour Brenda’s life will take place at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill on Tuesday, July 6th at 11:00 am. A private interment will be held at North Pelham Cemetery on a later date. Those that wish to attend the memorial service may do so by calling the funeral home at 905-892-5762. As per the current regulations masks and social distancing is required.
The service can also be viewed via live stream by going to the Funeral Home’s Facebook page at 11:00 am the day of the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the North Pelham Presbyterian Church or a charity of one’s choice.
