Brenda Kutschke (née Prokulevich)
March 6th, 1963 – November 9th, 2021
In the late-night hours of November 9th, 2021, our beloved Brenda passed away peacefully in her home after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Brenda was born to parents John Prokulevich (predeceased) and Carmen Becker (Gordon Becker) in Sudbury, Ontario. She spent her life with her adoring husband, Dennis Kutschke, who cared tirelessly for her until the very end. Brenda will be sorely missed by her son, Brent Kutschke (Christine), and her grandsons, Jacob and Cole. Adoring sister to Darren Prokulevich (Christine), and Sandra Prokulevich (Steve). Brenda is survived by sisters-in-law; Donna Hayes (Larry) and Monica Jenson (Karl), as well as her nieces and nephews; Robert, Michelle, Julie, Peter, Travis, Jessica, Kelsey, Pat, and Skyler. Cherished friend of Armand and Stephanie Charbonneau, as well as mommy Brenda to Kassy, Vanessa, and Sierra. She is also survived by her many other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her mother-in-law, Anne Kutschke, father-in-law, Alfred Kutschke, and brother-in-law, Steven. Brenda is now reunited with her loyal
companion of many years, her dog, Ivory. Brenda devoted her life to helping anyone in need, including countless clients through Community Living Greater Sudbury. During her time there, she made lasting friendships with many of her coworkers. Her selflessness and generosity were noticed by all who knew her, and especially by her son and grandsons, for whom she would have given the world. Brenda also loved to travel with her husband and friends, often referring to the Dominican Republic as her happy place. The memories made with her will forever be cherished by her friends and family. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St, Sudbury, on Saturday, November 13th, 2021, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM followed by a service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel at 4:00 PM Saturday. Masks and social distancing will be required. Cremation will follow, as per her wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to an education fund dedicated to her two grandsons.
