20-year member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch #637, served in the Ontario Regiment from 1992 – 1997, 20-year employee of Sobeys.
Suddenly, at Toronto Western Hospital with family by his side on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at the age of 49. Loving and devoted husband of Rebekah (née DeCoe). Honoured father of Kaitlyn Whitehurst, Samantha Brand and Steven Brand. Grandfather of Dante. Beloved brother of Michael Brand, Kelly (Jamie Mitchell) and Sarah Brand. Beloved son of Gerry and Barb Brand of Peterborough and son-in-law of John and Enid DeCoe. Relatives and friends will be received at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON-KELLAM FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, from 2 – 4 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. A memorial service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 6 at 2:00 p.m. Due to COVID, the family has requested that all those attending the memorial service be double-vaccinated (vaccine passport and proof of identification required).   1. I worked with him for almost five years and even talked to him on Christmas Eve to wish him a Merry Christmas, didn’t realize that would’ve been the last time, may he rest in peace and I hope his family makes it through
