Bradley Erickson 2021

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Bradley Erickson share his sudden passing from a pulmonary embolism on February 9, 2021.
Brad was born in Lethbridge, Alberta on May 18, 1969. He graduated from Coalhurst High School and then attended the University of Lethbridge where he completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts and performed in several major stage productions. He moved to Edmonton in 1992 to pursue a Master of Fine Arts (Theatre) at the University of Alberta and follow his Mom’s passion for the arts and literature. But instead, life circumstances and opportunities steered him in the direction of his Dad’s passion for vehicle restoration and all things mechanical which he developed into a satisfying career.
Brad is remembered as a leader, an actor, a philosopher, a storyteller, a family historian, and most importantly, a dad. He loved skiing, camping, nature, mountain biking, rock concerts, FAST cars, and BIG bonfires. Brad was a deep thinker and enjoyed animated debates with his close friends. He also enjoyed spending time with Tristan and his friends doing everything from conjuring alternate realities in Dungeons & Dragons, to hosting lake parties, to planning quad & sled expeditions, to coaching their upcoming high school basketball team.
Family was everything to Brad. Whether he was visiting his dear aunt or cherished cousins, talking football, music and driving with his nephew, or sharing special Christmas traditions with his sister and her family, he was right where he wanted to be. Whatever Brad was up to, he wanted Greg, his little brother and long-time partner-in-crime to be there. He was most proud of the cool collection of cars they saved from the crusher and of Greg’s initiative and success as he branched off on his own path.
Brad’s favourite place was the magical world that he created for his close-knit family of three in their backyard forest at Mulhurst Bay. His muse Pamela and his son Tristan really were the center of his universe and he was always orchestrating their next exciting adventure.
We will always picture Brad as free falling down a double black diamond ski slope with anyone who would dare follow or thrashing in the mosh pit at the next amazing rock & roll show.
Brad is survived by his spouse Pam Watmough, his son Tristan, his sister Tracey (Dave) Driscoll, his brother Greg, his nieces Kelsey and Hailey, his nephew Layne and his aunt Shiron.
Brad was predeceased by his mother Judy in 2010 and his father Gary in 2011.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Lung Association of Alberta.
A Memorial Service will be held at Connelly- McKinley Funeral Home Edmonton South, 4820 Meridian Street NW, on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. A link to view the service remotely will be posted here closer to the service date.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Bradley Erickson 2021..
