Peacefully, surrounded by his family , William Bradley James, of Glencoe passed away in his 65thyear at Strathroy Middle General Hospital on Thursday, March 25, 2021. Born April 17, 1956 in London. Son of the late William Albert “Bill” James and Edna (Neve). Survived by his wife Eveline (Elliott) of 47 years. Father to Danette Metivier of Newbury, Crystal James (Steve Dennison) of Bothwell and honourary son Ray Fowler of Newbury. Grandfather to Jaden, Christopher, Bradley Metivier of Newbury and honourary grandfather to Serena Harris of Bothwell. Brother to Randy (Alice) James of Wardsville, Janet Vosbourgh (Kim Yong) of London. Brad always lived in the Glencoe area, had a love for hunting and fishing. He had a passion for John Wayne movies. He started at Glencoe Co-op at 17, worked his way up to maintenance until they closed. He then moved on to Lambton Conveyor in Shetland and followed their move to Wallaceburg. He was a member of the Glencoe Elks Lodge. Brad was a man willing to lend a hand when needed and couldn’t pass up a chance to tease you. You didn’t have to be blood related to be in his family circle. Many called him “DAD”. Brad will be missed by his extended family and friends. “R.I.P. my love, till we meet again”. A private graveside service was held. A Celebration of Life is being held on Sunday, September 12/21 starting at 4 p.m. at 22257 Pratt Siding Road, Glencoe (Rain or Shine). Bring a lawn chair and BYOB.
