Yvonne Bosch passed away on her 94th birthday, following a recent stroke. Yvonne was born in 1927 in The Hague, The Netherlands where she spent her youth.
She and her husband, Jan Willem (Bill) Bosch immigrated to Canada with their infant son Matthew in 1952.
The family settled in Ajax where she went on to become a supportive wife, tireless mother
of six and an active member of the community. She modelled: love, joy,
peace, kindness, gentleness and self-control.
Music uplifted her spirit. She sang for the choir in both her church and the Ajax Community
Choir. For over 60 years, she volunteered at Ajax and Pickering General Hospital, where her husband practiced as an anesthetist and general
physician. She twice served as president of the Hospital Auxiliary.
Family was very important to her. Bill would say she was always happiest when she knew her children or grandchildren were coming to visit. Her long-term memories of family, songs and special occasions remained strong until her final days.
Yvonne had a warm smile that
formed dimples in her cheeks and crinkles around her eyes.
Predeceased by her son Matthew and husband Bill, she is survived by children, Renee, Lou, Derek, Nicole, and Julie. She is also survived by
her grandchildren Jacqueline, Ryan, Jan Willem, Annacy, Aleisha, Erika, Marieke, Leif, Nicholas, and Erik and great-grandchildren Charlie and
Carter.
A small burial service took place at Salem Cemetery, Ajax on April 17th, 2021.
If desired, donations in her memory can be made to Ajax Pickering General Hospital Foundation.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Bosch
