Peacefully at Westmount Gardens, on Monday September 27, 2021, Bonnie (Barbara) Scott of London in her 95th year passed away. Beloved wife of the late Harold A. Scott. Dear mother of Carol Ann Slade (Paul) of Port Elgin, Barbara Gorman (Damian) of Port Bruce and Terri Sims (Tony) of London. Loving grandmother of Jenna Lee (Liam), Jordan, Janice (Ryan), Michael (Michelle), Carolyn, Shane, Nicholas, Matthew (Nora), Kelli (Brad), and John. Predeceased by her grandson Derrick, niece Sharon and nephew Darryl. Bonnie graduated Nursing School as an R.N. at Victoria General Hospital in Vancouver, B.C. She worked as a nurse until her first daughter was born. She was a stay-at-home mom raising her family for many years. Once the daughters were in their late teens, Bonnie studied refresher nursing courses in order to enter the nursing field again, of which she first chose Victoria South Street Hospital and then finished her nursing career with Private Duty Home Care Nursing in London.
Bonnie had a passion for bridge and played in 4 clubs at the same time. She adored her friends at St. Martin’s in the Field immensely. All will miss her kind warm heart, forever giving nature and giggles. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at Woodland Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy and donation (Alzheimer Society) www.alzheimerlondon.ca would be appreciated and may be made through London Cremation Services. (519-672-0459 or this website).
