Bon Yan Chiang April 6 1932 November 1 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Bon Yan Chiang announces her passing on November 1st, 2021, at her Chinatown care home in Victoria, B.C. Bon Yan Chiang was a caring wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a wonderful friend to many.
Born in Canton, China on April 6th, 1932, to Jing Yuk Lan and Liu Fan Hoi, she grew up working in various types of jobs from a young age. She eventually immigrated to Canada in 1979 with her family and set up roots in Victoria, B.C.
Bon Yan’s hobbies were spending time tending to her gardens and knitting clothes for her grandchildren. She found joy in watching her flowers bloom and vegetables grow and seeing her grandchildren donning her creations. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and memories of her will live forever.
She will be deeply missed by all. She leaves behind her husband of many years, Chow Mo, their three children and their spouses How Yin (Haw Ming), Chung Son (Sui Quon), Sou San (Fong Me). Her grandchildren Lorina (Alex), Rosa (Game), Lila (Leslie), Raymond, Benny, Philip, Shirley, Gordon. And her great grandchildren Aisen, Kylan and Tia.
