Bobby V. Boling – age 82 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at his home in Mascot, TN. He was born on November 5, 1938 in Knoxville to Rev. W.C. and Maude Boling. Bobby grew up on the family farm in Mascot and graduated from Carter High School. He was a faithful member of Clear Springs Baptist Church of Mascot. He married the love of his life, Sue Griffin Boling, and together they raised three sons. Bobby was the proud owner and operator of Griffin Produce.
Preceded in death by wife, Mary Sue Boling; son, Eddie Boling; parents, W.C. and Maude Boling; brothers, Charlie and J.P. Boling; and sisters, Joy Hodge, Ruth Webster, Beulah Webster, Trula Foust, Sylva Rena Stalsworth, and Ramona Davis.
Survived by children, Greg (Sabrina) Boling, Brent (Melody) Boling; daughter-in-law, Susan Boling; grandchildren, Zach (Laura Sue) Boling, Chad Boling, Emily (Jesse) Harper, Abbey (Austin) Godwin, Peyton Boling; great grandchildren, Griffin Boling, Lillie May Boling, and Graham Owen Godwin (soon to arrive); sisters, Jewel (Ralph) Webster and Lela (Robert) Lovell; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, May 28, 2021, at Clear Springs Baptist Church of Mascot followed by the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Rev. Hartsell McCurry and Dr. Allen England officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM Saturday at Eastview Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 AM interment. Pallbearers: Zach Boling, Chad Boling, A.C.
