GEORGE, Blodwen 1926 – 2021: It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Blodwen George at the age of 95 on Wednesday, November 24th at Albright Manor in Beamsville. Predeceased by her husband John George, son Murray George and daughter Donna Stephens. Blodwen will be dearly missed by her daughter Janice (Glen) Holtby, son Ken George, daughter-in-law Sheena George and her wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. She lived for her family and would do anything for them. She was a very proud Life Member of the Welland Lioness Club and Volunteer for the Canadian Red Cross Blood Clinics. A special thank you to the wonderful care and love of all the staff at Albright Manor. They are truly “Angels”. Arrangements have been made at the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland for a private family burial. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Albright Manor or the Welland Humane Society.
