Born in Vernon on July 17, 1933, Joan Block passed away on January 12, 2021, in Kelowna, BC at the age of 87. Left to treasure her memory are her children: daughter Joanne Koepke (Raymond) and sons Lawrence (Glenda), Dale (Jane), & Chris (Lara); her grandchildren: Jeremy, Carmen, Keegan, Dustin, Jason, Curtis, Jackson, and Ellie; and her great-grandchildren: Avalyn, Will, Camden, Brinley, Brooklyn, and Dawson. She was sadly predeceased by her husband, Walter Block.
The family wish to extend their gratitude to the staff at Hawthorn Park and Orchard Manor for their kindness to Joan.
Don’t look so sad
I know it’s over
But life goes on
And this old world will keep on turning
Let’s just be glad
We had some time to spend together.
