Blaise Raymond January 1 2021

Obituary
In loving memory of Blaise Raymond, who passed away at Cassellholme, in North Bay, Ontario, on January 1, 2021, at the age of 90.
He was born in Bonfield, Ontario, on February 3, 1930. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Pierrette (Séguin), and his children, Richard (Helene), Ginette (Gérard) Gauthier, Bernard (Lucie), Pauline (John) Aquino and Robert (Sylvie). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews as well as several in-laws.
Blaise will always be remembered for his love of music, especially country music. He played many instruments including the guitar, the violin and the piano. He loved hockey, always cheering for the Montréal Canadians. He also spent his spare time as a young father coaching minor hockey. He worked as a millwright at Tembec in Temiscaming, Quebec, for the better part of his life. In 1990, he moved to North Bay and spent his winters following the Centennials and Trappers and his summers relaxing at his cottage, in Seguin Beach.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, no service will be held at this time. The family will hold a celebration of life in his honour at a later date.
