Of St. Marys and formerly of Thames Road passed peacefully, from this life into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, at Jessica’s House, Exeter on Friday, December 3, 2021 in her 79th year. Loving wife of Peter Black for over 56 years. Dear mother of Gordon and Corrie Black, and David and Sally Black, all of St. Marys. Dear grandmother of Charles, Oliver, Holly, Paula, Jeanette and Amelia, Kyla, and Sarah. Dear sister of Doris Simpson of Exeter, and predeceased by sisters Margaret Triebner (1992) of Exeter, and Helen Reid (2020) of Hensall. Jean was a faithful member of Community Bible Church. She assisted and worked alongside her husband Peter for many years at Black’s Financial Services in St. Marys.
Visitation will be held at the Community Bible Church, 24294 Adelaide Street North, Lucan (at Highway 7) on Thursday from 2-5 and 7-9 PM. Each person must RSVP for the visitation, please click “Register Now” below to register. A private funeral service will be held at Community Bible Church on Friday, December 10 at 2 PM.
