Obituary of Bill Koeslag
William “Bill” Koeslag passed away peacefully with his family and close friends by his side at his home in Georgian Bluffs on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at the age of 57 years. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Patti Wright-Koeslag. Cherished Father of Paige Koeslag and Eric Koeslag, both of Georgian Bluffs. Dear brother of Joanne Barfoot (Mike), Bert Koeslag (Wendy) and brother-in-law of Brad Wright (Corinna) and Penni Wright (Larry). Bill will be sadly missed by his in-laws, Herb and Beulah Wright and his nieces and nephews. Those friends that knew Bill well will have lots of fun memories. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Johanna Koeslag (née Wichers), his sister, Dinie Ritchie and brother-in-law, Murray Ritchie.
Visitation will be held at the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Thursday, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. A Memorial service for Bill Koeslag will be held on Friday, December 24, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. with Mr. David Fries officiating. All attendees must wear a mask and show proof of double covid vaccination at both events. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to Canadian Cancer Society, the Owen Sound Rotary Club or the Wiarton Rotary Club, as an expression of sympathy.
