Beverly June Dundas 1929 2021

Obituary of Beverly June Dundas
It is with sadden hearts that we announce the passing of our mom Beverly June Dundas (nee Cowell) on December 4, 2021, in her 93rd year. June will be deeply missed by her husband Bruce, married for 69 years, and will also be sadly missed by her children, David, Donna, Sue (Andy) and Dan (Carol), her grandchildren Matthew, Amanda, Jesse, Dani, and Will and her four great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her brother Roy. June came from a large family of Cowells and Dalgleishs and loved being with all her cousins and spent the summers growing up on her grandfather’s farm that left her with a love for the countryside and horses.
June enjoyed golfing in the summers but could not wait for winter so she could get on the ice and curl. She also spent many hours volunteering for different charities and especially for Bob Kemp at Bingos to help him realize his dream of building a Hospice. Once our dad retired, they spent their time golfing, travelling, and spending time in Ft. Myers Beach Florida. Many thanks to the staff at Albright Manor. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, December 9, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. and a private family service will follow.
In lieu of flowers you may wish to make a donation to the Alzheimer Society, Schizophrenic Society, SPCA or a charity of your choice. Online condolences and notes of sympathy may be left at www.donaldvbrown.ca
