Obituary
Beverley passed away peacefully on September 16, 2021. She is lovingly
remembered and will be sadly missed by her sons Robert Kennedy (Karen), Philip Kennedy (Sara), grandson Nigel Kennedy and family members: brother Don Roper (Janice) of Richmond, B. C., sisters Margaret Bailey (Joe) of Harrison, B.C. and Mary Hamilton (Thomas) of Penticton. Beverley was a loving and caring Aunt and Great Aunt to 9 nephews and nieces, and 10 great – nephews and nieces. Beverley was born in New Westminster, B.C. and spent her childhood years in Vancouver. Kamloops and Kelowna. As a young wife and mother, she lived in Ontario and moved to Penticton to be near family and to raise her two sons. Beverley was an active member of the Salvation Army and throughout the years, she gave of her time and devotion to helping others, especially the elderly. Beverley is preceded in death by her infant son Eugene Kennedy and her parents George and Gertie Roper. Rev 21:4 (NLT) God will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever. A Celebration of Life for Beverley Kennedy will be October 4, 2021, at 2:30 pm at the Salvation Army Church, 2469 South Main Street, Penticton. B.C. The service is extended to family and friends. Covid protocols will be followed.
