Beverley Ann Spencer Thingstad May 18th 1950 August 16th 2021

It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, sister, friend, and nana, Bev on Monday, August 16, 2021. Bev is survived by the ‘love of her life’ her husband Gary Spencer, her boys Craig (Marika) Connolly, Kyle (Jody) Connolly, her mother Myrtle Austin, brother Barry (Andrea) Thingstad, step-sister Sharon Austin, nephews Jake (Jessica) Thingstad, Randy (Tash) Thingstad, and baby Kennedy Thingstad, and lastly her fur baby Brandie. Bev was a very proud and loving nana to Brianna and Sebastien Connolly. She enjoyed her grandchildren’s antics and conversations. Nothing gave Bev more pleasure than spending time with her grandkids. Bev is predeceased by her father Arnold Thingstad, step-dad Donald Austin, and her children’s father Bev Connolly. Bev enjoyed being with her longtime friends reminiscing about their shenanigans, shopping, and vacations. Only fitting, her license plate reads “MS VISA”. Special thanks to Dr. Kim and Dr. Cornila, the VON nurses, Care Partners, and all who made Bev’s last days pain free and comfortable. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A private family interment will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, sympathy may be expressed through donations to Alzheimer Society of Sarnia Lambton (cheques only at the funeral home please).

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Beverley Ann Spencer Thingstad May 18th 1950 August 16th 2021..
