Obituary of Betty Marie Casemore
CASEMORE, Betty Marie peacefully at Hanover District Hospital Thursday evening January 14, 2021. Betty Casemore (nee Horsburgh) of Hanover and formerly of Park Head in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Casemore (2013). Cherished mother of Guy Banks of Campbell River, B.C., Chrystal Hunter of Hamilton, Cyndy Abell and her husband Rick of Cargill and Penny O’Toole and her husband Garry of Park Head. Much loved grandmother of Lance (Andrea) Whalen, Rick (Kristy) Abell, Betty-Ann Abell, Jessie Hunter, Darren Abell, Trevor (Sharon) Abell, Colleen O’Toole and Keagan O’Toole and great grandmother of Colby, Megan, Dallas, Alexa, Zachary, Naomi, Christie-Lee, Matt and Daisie and great great grandmother of Maddison, Teagan, Lucus and Taylor. Dear sister-in-law of Wilmer Casemore, Milton (Ruth) Casemore and Ray (Myrna) Casemore, all of Owen Sound and mother-in-law of Wayne Bumstead of Owen Sound. She will be missed by the Banks and Casemore families as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Hannah (nee Kunsenhauser) and James Walter Horsburgh, daughter Cheryl Bumstand and a son in infancy. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at the Boyd Cemetery, Shallow Lake in the spring. Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME, Hepworth. Expressions of remembrance to the Hepworth Baptist Church, Grace United Church Hanover (General Fund) or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
