Obituary of Betty Belanger
BELANGER, Elizabeth “Betty”
With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Betty Belanger of Aylmer, at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on August 15, 2021 at the age of 68. Devoted wife and best friend of Micheal Belanger. Dearly loved mother of Ryan (Shannon) Belanger and Stephanie Belanger (Sean) and Stepmother to Terri (Jim) Junker, Chris Belanger & Michael (Lori) Belanger. Proud and devoted Grandma / Nana to Mikey, Tessa, Robyn, Sam, Taylor, Brianna, Rayne, Jesse, Autumn, River, MJ & Oliver. There was nothing she loved more than her grandchildren, to the moon and back.
Betty will be deeply missed by her cousins Ed (Imbi) Kovacs, Ernie (Vi) Kovacs, and their children Deb, Greg, Karen, Tracy and families. Also survived by sister-in-law, Pat Rick (Jim Taylor), Jim (Marlene) Belanger, several nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
Before retiring, Betty spent her career as a dedicated nurse for 40 years at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital & Terrace Lodge in Aylmer. She loved baking for her friends and family, nature, & caring for all animals that made their way to the farm.
A Celebration of Life (Open House) will be held Saturday, September 4th, at the family farm. (6840 Springfield Road, Aylmer) from 1-4pm. Share memories or condolences at kebbelfuneralhome.com
