Obituary of Betty Mullett
It is with great sadness that the family of Elizabeth (Betty) Mullett of Burin announce her passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre on March 25th, 2021 at the age of 88 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children Jim (Barbara), Brenda McCarthy (Larry), Vince (Veva), Brendan (Janet), Edith Landry (Jacques), Pad (Leona), Chris (Donna), Philip (Sharon) and Pam Hollett (Brad); 18 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
Predeceased by husband Patrick; 5 brothers and 1 sister.
Visitation to take place on Friday the 26th from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm at Serenity Funeral Home,with a maximum of 20 people in funeral home at one time. and Private Funeral Mass from St. Patrick’s RC Church, Burin with interment following at RC Cemetery, Fox Cove.
Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of ones choice.
Following COVID-19 guidelines, mask must be wore at all times and please sanitize on entry of building and exiting, together we can get through this.
A Special thank you to Betty’s homecare workers Janice Brushett and Mary Myles for their wonderful care and support.
