Betty May Langdon
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Betty May Langdon, age 81 years of Seal Cove, Fortune Bay, announces her passing on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. She passed peacefully away with her family by her side at the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank, NL.
Betty was predeceased by her loving husband, Herman; parents, Edgar & Maude Harris and sister, Marion Connock.
Betty leaves to mourn her five children: Alfred (Mary), Larry (Betty) and Barbara (Reuben), all at Grand Bank, NL; Bill (Janet) and Marlene (Todd), all at Sackville, NS; eight grandchildren, Holly, Sylvia, Daniel, Samantha, Brittany, Amy, Dylan and Lucas; two great grandchildren; Alex and Alana; great granddaughter, Fudge, to arrive; sisters; Evelyn (Sidney), Clarice (Tom), all at St. John’s and Sara (Freeman) at Harbour Breton; brothers, Simeon (Melita) and Wesley (Phyllis), all at Seal Cove; as well as a circle of other family and friends.
Family Visitation will take place on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the Salvation Army Church at Seal Cove from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm with one Family Bubble at a time. Instructions will be provided on arrival and COVID-19 regulations will be followed.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Salvation Army Church in Seal Cove with Majors Osbourne and Roxanne Randell officiating. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Seal Cove. COVID-19 regulations will be followed.
The Family would like to thank the Staff of the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank for the loving care afforded Mom over the last 11 years.
The Family requests that any donations in Mom’s memory be made to the Blue Crest Nursing Home in Grand Bank, NL.
