1938-2021
Betty Lou Arnold – 82, of Wallbrook, Kings County,
passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2021 in the Valley Regional
Hospital, Kentville. Born in Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late
Lewis and Grace (Stevens) Arnold. She has been employed with the
Eastern Kings Memorial Hospital in Wolfville, retiring after 38 years
of service as the head of housekeeping. She enjoyed crafts, gardening
and loved flowers. She is survived by her common-law partner, Kevin
Murphy; daughters, Audrey Hubley and Mary Currie; grandchildren,
Caitlyn, Damon, Tamera, Laura and Cameron; many nieces, nephews,
extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her common-law
partner, Bernard Swaine; brothers, Sid, Richard, Allen, Eddie, Perry,
Ronnie, Louis and George. She was the last surviving member of her
immediate family. A public visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30 on
Tuesday, April 20, 2021 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville.
All pandemic regulations and social distancing will be observed, and
mask wearing is required. A private funeral service (by invitation)
will be held. A video webcast of the service will be available at 2:00
p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, 2021. Donations in memory may be made to
Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia. Funeral arrangements have been
entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
