After a brief illness, Betty Knox of Knoxdale Farms passed away peacefully on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay. Betty (nee Umphrey) was the beloved wife of Carson Victor Knox (2019). Loving mother of Jennifer and her husband Greg Kearns of Uxbridge, Joan and her husband Wayne Harpell, John Knox and his wife Julie all of Fenelon Falls and Lesley Knox and Jason Anthony of Picton. Dear grandma of Natalie Austin (Roger), Rich Kearns (Nicole), Megan Kearns, Hilary Harpell (Matt), Kristen Harpell (Dave), Jeff Harpell (Lita), Victor Knox (Mitchy), Murphy Maria Knox (Nicholas), Katie Knox, Siera Anthony and great-grandma of Carson, Irish, Mikaela and Jayna. Betty is also survived by nieces and nephews on Carson’s side of the family. The family of Betty Knox held a private family gathering at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION & TRIBUTE CENTRE, 8 Princes’ St. W., Fenelon Falls. Interment will be held in the Knox family plot at Fenelon Falls Cemetery later in the spring. If desired, memorial donations to Providence United Church or the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
