It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Betty Fitzgerald (Nee Curtis) at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday, August 6, 2021 with her loving husband, Frank by her side.
Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Marion Curtis; sisters: Verna, Winnona, Shirley, Sherrille, Margaret; brothers: Wesley and Jimmy.
Left to mourn is her husband: Frank; son: Michael (Maria); brothers: Edward and Arlen, grandsons: Mitchell, Noah, Jacob and Wyatt; sisters in law, Nellie, Kay, Marg(Bish), brothers in law, Reg and Allan, many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
We would love to thank the doctors and staff at the Miramichi Regional Hospital for Betty’s excellent care over the past months. A special thanks to neighbor and friend, Annmarie for her loving care and support for Betty through her illness.
A celebration of Betty’s life and interment will be held at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy in Betty’s memory, donations may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice. Messages of condolence for the family, can be sent through the funeral home website at www.bellsmeadows.com

  2. I am so sorry to hear that my cousin Betty has died. We had some fun times together on our visits to Canada and Betty’s visit to England. She was a very kind, sweet lady. My heart goes out to Frank and all Betty’s loved ones in Canada. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very sad time, she will be missed by everybody.
