Betty Caldwell Craig Chapados 2021

It is with great sorrow in our hearts that we grieve the sudden passing of Betty Caldwell (Craig) Chapados on Saturday October 16th. She passed away peacefully at Maria Hospital with her niece Erin at her bedside and joined the Lord.
She now rests peacefully with her beloved husband Joseph Chapados, predeceased by her parents Leonard and Greta (Hall) Craig and brother Garry Craig.
Left to mourn her loss is her brother Eric (Brenda) and sisters Janet-Ann and Donna (Alan) Kemp. Her nieces Cheryl (Albert), Cindy (Kevin), Janice (John), Erika (Matt), Dawn (Steven), Erin and Lauren. Also missed by great nieces, nephews, and great-great nephews. Betty was also predeceased by her godchild Pina Maria Shiers.
Betty was a compassionate person who always put others before herself. She lovingly cared for her sister Janet-Ann and her friend Garnet Gallon. Betty loved to travel, spend time with her family and was always on the go.
Betty was a loving wife, sister and aunt and she will be forever remembered by her family. She will be cremated and a service will be held Thursday October 21st 11:00 am at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, New Carlisle, Qc. A burial will be held at a later date.
We give special thanks to our Aunt Bessy Craig for all of her great help over the years especially during Betty’s last few days of her journey.
We are also so grateful for the genuine care the staff at the Maria Hospital provided for our sister.
“Seeing death as the end of life is like seeing the horizon as the end of the ocean.”
