Obituary of Bessie Maynard
Maynard: Bessie Hilda (Harris) a resident of Chatham, passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham on Friday, January 1, 2021 at the age of 102. Born in Croton, daughter of the late Bert and Kate (Paling) Harris. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Maynard. Loving mother of Alfred and Glenda Maynard of Wabash, Margaret and Richard Henderson of Chatham, and George and Claudia Maynard of R.R.#4 Dresden. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Dave Maynard(Lisa), Doug Maynard (Michelle), Laura Kott (John), Katherine Adams (Fraser) and great – grandchildren Jackson and Lucas Maynard and Elizabeth Adams. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by sisters Joan Maynard (late Gordon), Beryl Neaves (late Mac), Edna Buckingham (late Don); brothers Jack Harris (late Mary),Walter Harris (late Ethel), and Sidney Harris, and several brothers and sisters-in-law from the Maynard family. A Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. If desired donations to the Emmanuel Baptist Church,100 McNaughton Ave W, Chatham, ON.
