It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Bessie Langdon of Grand Bank announces her passing. Bessie passed away at the her residence in Grand Bank on Sunday, December 12th, 2021, at the age of 90. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are her daughters, Joan Langdon of Grand Bank, Yvonne Thornhill (Charles) of Grand Bank; sisters, Marion Loveless, Emily Best (Wilfred), Cassie Williams (Bruce), Gladys Grandy (Tom), Alma Matthews (Carl); brothers, Edmund Loveless (Audrey), Gerald Loveless (Betty); 3 grandchildren, Scott Follett (Becky), Tyson Prior (Courtney), Holly Hoddinott (Corey); 8 great-grandchildren, Julia, Isabella, Emily, Sara, Olivia, Josie, Luke, Rebecca. sisters in law, Helen Langdon, Elsie Loveless, Alma Bungay, Shirley Engram, Rudy Loveless (Leo), Beulah Loveless (Eric), Ida Loveless (Winston); brothers in law, Cluett Langdon (Joyce), Hickman Langdon (Tryphena); plus a large circle of extended family and friends. Bessie was predeceased by husband Josiah Langdon; parents, John and Grace Loveless; brothers, Walter Loveless, George Loveless; brothers in law, Norman Loveless, Wesley Bungay, Albert Langdon; sister in law, Winnie Loveless.
The Langdon Family will be accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Home, Grand Bank on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Due to the current Covid 19 regulations this will be a walk through visitation. Everyone is asked to please sign the Covid 19 contact tracing sheet upon entering the building. Proof of NL Vax Pass must be shown and masks must be worn. Please note that there are no food or beverages permitted in the building. Funeral service will take place at Grand Bank Salvation Army on Wednesday, December 15th, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
Interment to follow at Salvation Army Cemetery. In Bessie’s memory donations may be made to Salvation Army Cemetery Fund, or flowers gratefully accepted.
