Peacefully with her loving family by her side, the death occurred of Bertha Theresa MacPhee (nee MacKenzie) at the Kings County Memorial Hospital on Thursday, December 30, 2021. She was aged 88 years of Selkirk, PE. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Kenneth and will be forever loved by her children Louis (Darlene), Donald (Sandra), Joan Lambie (Kenny) and Jackie Tanner (Mike).
Bertha was a caring a dear grandmother to Lauchlin, Jodi (Brent), Megan, Daniel, Rebeccah and Grace. In addition, she is fondly remembered by Megan Laybolt and Katelyn Cluney, sister-in-law Eileen MacKenzie and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her parents Alan and Margaret MacKenzie, infant son Jackie, siblings Josie (Betty), Norman (Mary), Louis, Christelle, Mary (Gus) and sister-in-law Mae (Albert).
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place for family only. A private funeral mass will be held at the St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. If so desired, online donations can be made to the St. Margaret’s Cemetery Fund and would be appreciated by the family.
