Bernardine’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bernardine House announce her peaceful passing at Western Long-Term Care – Palliative Care Unit, on Monday, October 25th, 2021 at the age of 86. Bernardine is survived by her children, Denise (Gary), Linda (Tony), Lauri (Eugene) and Torena (Glynn); Step-children, Darren, Lorraine, Norma and Dennis; Grandchildren, Tonya (Cliff), Kaden (Micheal), Dylan, Cameron, Riley, Burke and Sydney; Great-grandchildren, Tristan and Preston.; Sister, Margaret. As well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. She is predeceased by her parents, Margaret and Lawrence Tobin; Sister, Mary (Walter); her first husband, Sidney Lovell; Second husband, Wilfred House; Son-in-law, Myrden Twyne; Step-son, Warrick House and her brother-in-law, Melvin Rose. A very special thank you to the Palliative Care nurses and staff; nurses and staff at Western Memorial Hospital; as well as Joy and the Westmount Estates staff and family. A visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home on Friday, October 29th, 2021, from the hours of 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM. There will be no formal funeral service at this time, with interment service to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted by the family.
