Obituary of Bernard Alan Surrette
SURRETTE, Bernard Alan – On February 5, 2021, I, the 2nd son of Bud and Marg Surrette, got off the carousel of life with only one regret. I won’t be getting any more kisses and hugs from my soul mate, Maia Jack.
I’ve been blessed to have so many friends, with all the varied interests from scouting to Man U, to woodcarving, the Habs, the Lumberjacks and Roll Tide. I have so many circles of friends though the garages, playing cards, cooking, traveling, the corn boil, and other friends.
I’m really happy to have the family that I have; my immediate family and all my nieces and nephews, and all of Maia’s family. Special hugs go out to Matt, Grey and Nic.
I appreciate everyone that’s accompanied me on my journey. I will miss you. Now that you have heard about my wonderful life, put your hand in your pocket, take out a bunch of cash and donate it to the New Germany Medical Center so that we can continue to have angels like Jennifer Riis, whose care added years to my life. Goodbye and may the Force Be With You.
Bernie’s family wish to thank Jennifer Riis, Dr. Ratushny, Dr. West, and the staff at SSRH for their compassionate care. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Sweeny’s Funeral Home, 35 York Street, Bridgewater. On-line condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.sweenysfuneralhome.com
