1948-2021
It is with great sorrow that the family announces that Ted earned his wing on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the age of 72 years. He passed peacefully at home with his wife of 50 years by his side. Beloved husband of Marion Homuth (née Carnes), loving father of Louise (Gerald) and Theodore (Crystal) and cherished grandfather of 5 grandchildren. Also left to mourn are his sister Iris and his brother Jim (Huguette) and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ted (1990) and Marie (1991), his sister Bernadette (2013) and his brother Leo (2017). The family would like to give a special thank you to his nurses Liz and Rick, his PSW’s Brittany and Pam, his nurse practitioner Marnie and to any other people who may have helped that we have not mentioned. As per Ted’s wishes a private family service will be held with cremation to follow. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. The funeral arrangements have been entrusted with the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
