It’s with great sadness that we announce the passing of a true kindred spirit today. We say goodbye to a wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She bravely battled her cancer treatments but in the end it took her life on February 14, 2021 peacefully at home with the love of her family surrounding her.
Born March 17, 1963 as Belinda Ruth Schroeder, but known as “Auntie Bud”. She was a big part in all the lives of her family especially her nieces and nephews. With her kind spirit she had a special relationship with each and every one in her family and her friends.
She had a passion for fashion and decorating, anything that was the colour teal would be incorporated into her décor. But nothing was more important to her then the simplicity of being with loved ones.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Greg Kasprick. Predeceased by her mother, Ruth Anne (Deschamps). Her father Kenneth Schroeder (Diane) of McKerrow Ontario. Siblings Penelope Schroeder (Kiki) of Hanmer, Brent Schroeder (Carole) of Pembroke, Kimberley Sanftenberg (John) of Sudbury and Mellissa Buchanan (Craig) of Pembroke. Father-in-law Richard Kasprick (Michelle) of Neepawa Manitoba; Brother-in-laws, Tim (Susan) of Melville Saskatchewan and Michael (Samantha) of Eden Manitoba. Nieces and nephews Santana (Gaelen Zettle), Brock, Cassandra (Nathan Hartwig), Elliot, Tiffany, Alexxis, Taylor, Brandon, Ethan and Rhianna. Great nieces and nephews Atticus, Theodore, William, Emmaline, and Ira. Special Auntie Bud to Chelsea, Haley, Zander, Lori Anne and Cohen. Besties Cathy, Cheryl (LB) and Heidi.
Keeping with Belinda’s giving spirit, in remembrance of Belinda’s life the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) or Canadian Cancer Society.
