Obituary of Beatrice ‘Pat’ Davies
Beatrice Patricia (‘Pat’) DAVIES (nee Gregory)
1931 – 2021
It is with broken hearts that we announce that our beloved Pat passed away peacefully in the early morning of October 29, 2021 in Almonte, Ontario at 90 years of age.
She will be forever missed and remembered by her daughter Debbie Hillier (Greg), grandchildren Joseph (Mark), Nicholaus (Alisha) and Sarah (Andy) and great-grandchildren Harry and Owen, dear niece Lynda, and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Pat joins her best friend and husband Don in the ‘great blue yonder’ who passed in 2005. She is also predeceased by sisters Marina and Dorothy and brother George, and parents Beatrice and George.
Pat was always truly happiest spending time with her close family, having coffee with friends, reading, baking and working in her yard and garden (or shoveling snow when we told her not to). She went through life with a quiet but determined strength and grace, never a complaint, and known for the most perfect and distinct hair bun you have ever seen. Her laugh was infectious and her humour sharp.
Special thank you to the team at Orchard View by the Mississippi for making Pat feel so special during her brief stay there, and in particular for their care and empathy in the final few days.
A celebration of Pat’s life will be planned for early in the new year.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Diabetes Canada and/or the Canadian Cancer Society .
Mom/Nan – we love you and we miss you.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Beatrice ‘Pat’
