Passed peacefully at The Residence at Littledale on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 Beatrice Bernadine Murphy (nee Curran) of St. John’s, age 85. Predeceased by her daughter Carol, husband Thomas, parents Bridget and Richard, sisters Catherine (Ferd Graham), Esther (Raymond Kavanagh) and Leonie (Vince Kennedy), brother Edward (Bernice Curran), and grandson Micheal Bennett.
Leaving to mourn: daughter Cathy (Doug Bennett), son Gerard (Susan Murphy); grandsons Cameron and Liam Bennett; sisters Margaret (Al LeBlanc: deceased), Teresita (Christian Belcourt), and Mary (Bill O’Leary: deceased); brother Ronald (Zita Curran), as well as numerous relatives and a large circle of dear friends. At Bea’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm. A service of remembrance will be held at the Caul’s Funeral Home chapel at 10 am on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Inurnment to follow immediately at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Bea was a caring, thoughtful mother and grandmother and will be lovingly remembered by her family. The family wishes to thank the staff of The Residence at Littledale for their compassion and kindness. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Candlelighters NL or Ronald McDonald House NL.
