Obituary of Barry Grant Linden
LINDEN: Peacefully, at Country Manor Estates Retirement Home, Thedford, on Monday, July 26, 2021, Barry Grant Linden, formerly of Grand Bend, age 79. Loving father of Robert Linden and his wife Nancy Carnide. Grandpa of Oliver Linden. Remembered by his former wife Susan Jane (Haugh) Linden. Brother of Lorne Linden, sister of Janice Haugh, brother-in-law of Allan Haugh, brother-in-law of the late Neil Haugh and brother-in-law of Ann Van Elslander. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Elvena (Green) Linden. At Barry’s request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service with Interment at Baird’s Cemetery (just outside of Brucefield) will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. A reception and celebration of life will be held following the interment at the Brucefield United Church at 2:00 p.m. Barry was a long time school teacher with the Toronto Public School Board and the Huron County Roman Catholic School Board. If desired, memorial donations payable directly to the Sarnia and District Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
