Barbara Anne Lang
Barbara Anne Lang (nee Fairman), 87, of Halifax, passed away at home after a brief battle with cancer.
Originally from Hamilton, Ontario Barb moved to Halifax with her children in 1984.
Barb is survived by her children Scott (Sabina) Bear Island, NB, Vinnie, Stanley, Pat (Sharon), Eric (Kim), Kelly, James (Lena), all of Nova Scotia. Grandchildren Alex, Stasha, Kira, Kendra, Rhiannon, John, Jamie, Jessie. Barb was also awaiting the arrival of her first great-grandchild. She is also survived by her brother Neil (Marilyn) Vancouver Island, and sister Nancy Johnson (Tom), Hamilton, Ontario.
Besides her parents, Barb was predeceased by son Montey Allen (in infancy), brothers Lloyd, Clift, Jack, Ronnie, Gary, Harold and sisters Evelyn and Shirley.
Barb enjoyed having a few beer and cheering on her beloved hometown team, the Hamilton Tiger Cats
Cremation has taken place and due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be no service at this time, but a celebration of Barb’s life will be held at a later date.
Donations in memory may be made to a charity of choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, 149 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. Messages and memorials may be directed to the Lang family by visiting www.walkerfh.com
