Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Barbara Marilyn Flanagan (Bevis), of Edson, AB. on October 8, 2021, with her friend by her side, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born on January 8, 1949, to Walter A. Bevis and Mary Bevis (Mansell), in Toronto, ON.
In Barb’s working years she had several jobs, mostly in a administrative capacity. For a short time, she owned a craft store. Barb absolutely loved the mountains, going for drives in the country and out for meals. She did travel extensively throughout her lifetime, she loved life. She lived with many friends along the way. At one time she owned two kitties that she loved dearly.
Barb had many ups and downs in her lifetime but remained a very positive person. And liked a good joke. Anyone who knew her valued her councillor abilities and great advice.
Left to mourn her loss are Ila and Kerry Miller, Makayla Sinclair-Miller, Michelle Rozak, April Davison and very special person Art Leavens., plus a host of other friends.
